When Your Husband Travels: 18 Keys I’ve Learned for Survival

Even after 14 years of marriage, it still rocks my world every single time my husband travels on business. I don’t realize how much I depend on him until he’s gone.

Can you relate?

My husband is the love of my life and my best friend. Which is why it is so hard for me when my husband travels! However, after 14 years of marriage, here are the 18 ways that I handle the stress of his heaviest business travel seasons.

My husband just finished up a season of heavy business travel, and I know another season is ahead for August.

So as I look ahead to August (and think about what I’ve been learning lately through all this travel), I wanted to share some practical tips I use to survive when my husband travels.

These are the physical things I do (along with the mental attitudes I pray for) to be as strong and healthy during these times.

I’m sharing these 18 Ways to Cope When Your Husband Travels here as a guest contributor for My Joy-Filled Life. Won’t you check them out?

My prayer is that you’re able to use a few of these tools to help you survive those times when your husband has to travel!
