What’s A Random Act of Kindness?

An act of kindness is just that–something unexpected done by one person that blesses someone else. Sometimes these acts of kindness are done anonymously (or not). And sometimes a person personally knows the person receiving the kindness act (and sometimes not)!

No matter what you decide to do, if you’re helping someone else, you’re performing an act of kindness!

I love these simple tips! I try hard to reach my
Kids to do random acts of kindness- but with 2 kids so small sometimes I feel like I’m creating more stress for myself and losing the joy. Love how simple these are:) would you link with us at 100 Happy days? http://www.akreativewhim.com/refreshed-100-HD-16

Hi Kate! Thanks! I would just keep it really simple and basic. When it starts to get stressful it no longer is a joyful and kind experience for anyone. Perhaps it would be helpful to think of kindness more as a mindset than a “to do” list? Often just responding in kind to our kids (when we really want to be angry!) is a wonderful testimony and an incredible act of kindness. God sees your desire to spread kindness and will use your intentions in this stage of life to bring kindness to others in unique ways.
