We have that lantern! I reviewed it, and my kids have taken it to camp several times.

Great list, awesome ideas. Love this, its on my to do list. I need to get moving, thankfully we don’t have much disasters where I live. We lose our power for a few days every winter. Otherwise so far so good. However I think being prepared is very important. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Jen! Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the list! Being better prepared was on my list of to-dos for 2016. I agree that is important because we never know when we will need the supplies. Thanks for sharing!

Living in Florida and having 6 months of hurricane season every year, a disaster preparedness kit is a must-have. Thanks for sharing your post and list of resources with us at the Over the Moon Link Party.

Hi Sandy! Yes, we all have reasons to keep a disaster kit handy. It’s one of those things that we don’t think about much, but when we need it, we NEED IT. Thank you for sharing here and stopping by!

Great list. I have some of these items but could definitely add to my emergency kit.
